Avoidance of double taxation

The double taxation is a disadvantageous situation of taxation, in case of double taxation the tax payer has to pay tax in two states for the same income. Nowadays most of the countries are signing treaties of avoiding double taxation with each other. Hungary has signed the treaty of avoiding double taxation with 83 countries until 01.01.2021., with most of the European countries, a lot of Asian countries and also with the United States of America and Australia.
